A ceramist since 1997, Marko Savard holds a diploma from the Bonsecours Ceramic Center and continued his studies a few years later in visual arts at the Concordia University, where research, collaborations and teaching are at the heart of his artistic practice. The recipient of many awards such as the Jean Cartier Award, the SODEC OFQJ Emerging Prize and the FIMA Craft Award. He is the founder of the L'Aluminé workshop in Montreal, a space for training, creation and research in contemporary ceramics.
