"Emma Smith is a multi award winning ceramic artist living and working in Jerseyville ON. After studying ceramics at Sheridan College and Haliburton School of the Arts, she worked as an apprentice for Gleasonbrook Pottery in 2013 with potter Timothy Smith. Emma exhibits her work internationally, and teaches workshops across Ontario. Her functional and sculptural work are reflections of community and family dynamics – the experiences that shape the way we see the world, the people who come in and out of our lives, and the physical spaces that form the backdrop of our memories."
