These days Tamborro's work has not only evolved, it has taken a course of removing the sense of control, which the practice of brushwork provides. The freedom of incorporating other tools within his arsenal has allowed him to establish strategic, mark making methods, to keep him from being bored and stale. Most of his studio work is drawn from photo reference via a large monitor and life studies. Though he likes to keep to a limited oil pallet, many new pigments have recently graced present work and will also grace future work to come.
